Hikari is a Japanese word which means "light". It can also mean "radiance". We hope the scarf could in a bring out your inner light / radiance and helps you shine on in your own way.

This beautiful scarf (long shawl) can be worn as both a headscarf (tudung / hijab) or a neck warmer. It is easy to style, chic and an absolute stunner. Whether you wear it over a shirt and a pair of boyfriend jeans, or wear it with a traditional baju kurung or baju Kedah this Raya / Eid holiday, you'll turn heads everywhere you go.

With a little bit of effort, this could also be used as a lightweight summer poncho. The indigo color and the hand-tied patterns has a understated but luxurious appeal to it. We apply 3 different techniques to produce the patterns on this Hikari Shibori Scarf. The word shibori comes from the root word shiboru which means "to wring, squeeze, and press". This technique has been used from many years ago to create a wide variety of patterns on fabric in Japan. Because it is done by hand, every finished piece is one of a kind. So, slight difference in each piece is to be expected and with all shibori dyed pieces, imperfection are what makes these pieces perfect :)

This scarf is easy to care for, lightweight, breathable and easy to shape, making it suitable for everyday use.
